Applicant Frequently Asked Questions
Current Ontario Highschool Students
Admissions typically begin February – March. Applications will be reviewed upon a rolling basis until May 15. Final decisions will be communicated by the May 27 deadline.
Not Current Ontario Highschool Students
Decisions to non-supplementary application programs are normally processed 4 – 5 weeks after all supporting/required documentation noted on McMaster’s Applicant Portal are marked as “received”
Yes. Current Ontario high school students presenting a minimum of 3 final or 6 midterm Grade 12 U/M courses will be considered for admission on a rolling basis. Many students will receive “conditional offers” meaning that their offer is conditional based on completing the final requirements at the end of their high school year.
The only program in the Social Sciences that requires a supplementary application is anyone applying directly to the School of Social Work.
