Health & Society I

If you’re curious about how health policy, decision making and mental health can affect human behaviour, societies, and the world we live in, you’re in the right place.

Health and Society I is one of three entry pathways, and the gateway to your degree program. This entry pathway is geared towards students who have an interest in the programs within health, aging and society. You will delve into a diverse range of subjects, including sociology, anthropology, public health, and policy studies. Through Health and Society I you have the opportunity to explore the intersection of health, society and wellbeing through the lens of the Social Sciences. You’ll experience classes with an emphasis on experiential education and community-partnered research alongside other students interested in pursuing health, aging and society programs.

At the end of your first year, you will apply to the top programs of your choice.
