Being apart of the Ambassador team has been one of the highlights of my undergraduate experience! I’ve learned so much about leadership and I love being able to be one of the first friendly faces prospective students meet when beginning their university search experience.
It’s been so fun meeting new people throughout the faculty and making some really great professional connections! It’s great to know that all the Ambassadors love Mac Soc Sci and our community.

Social Work
Being able to showcase and connect with the McMaster community through the ambassador program has been such a special part of my undergraduate journey.
With a team so dedicated to supporting student initiatives and empowering the student voices behind them, working as an ambassador constantly reminds of how proud I am to be a marauder from the faculty of social sciences.
Zoey (She/Her)

I thoroughly enjoyed my year as an ambassador for the Social Sciences Faculty as I got to connect with prospective students year long, and help incoming students feel more comfortable and confident in their place at our school.
I know how scary it can be to come to a big university and how many questions I had but no one to answer them. I love supporting students in the way I needed as an incoming student.

Being a Social Sciences Ambassador has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to give back to the community by sharing my journey and insights with current and future students.
Representing the Faculty of Social Sciences has strengthened my connection with the faculty and provided opportunities to engage with a diverse group of individuals, both locally and internationally. The ambassador team is exceptional, fostering a sense of camaraderie that makes the experience truly enriching and enjoyable.
